4 Days Mount Meru Climb

5/10

Tour Overview

The 4 days Mount Meru climb is a scenic and rewarding trek that takes you to Tanzania’s second-highest peak at 4,566 meters. Located in Arusha National Park, the route passes through lush rainforests, moorlands, and dramatic ridges, offering chances to spot wildlife like giraffes, buffaloes, and monkeys. Clear mornings reward climbers with stunning views of nearby Mount Kilimanjaro.

Less crowded than Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru provides a more peaceful and intimate trekking experience. The 4-day itinerary allows for better acclimatization and overnight stays in mountain huts, making it ideal for both seasoned trekkers and those preparing for Kilimanjaro.

Arrival in Tanzania – Welcome to Moshi or Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a representative from Lucky Moon Adventure will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha—both ideal starting points for trekking. In the evening, meet your mountain guide for a comprehensive trek briefing and final gear check before your Mount Meru adventure begins.
